Volunteering is a core part of our organization, and it is not limited to youth. We welcome all members of the family to participate and serve together. One of the most meaningful aspects of our work is seeing entire families volunteer side by side, strengthening both their community impact and their own family bonds through shared service.

One of our most sensitive areas of service is supporting older adults. Many seniors face multiple challenges at the same time, including limited income, complex healthcare systems, transportation barriers, social isolation, and difficulty accessing available resources. Thy Family's team provides personalized guidance to help seniors navigate programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, long-term care services, financial assistance programs, and transportation resources. Thy Family also address mental and behavioral health needs by partnering with local licensed therapists to support youth and families facing emotional and psychological challenges. Through this partnership, we are able to help reduce session costs and make therapy more accessible for those who otherwise could not afford it. Due to limited donation resources, Thy Family is only able to provide financial assistance to a small number of families. When support is available, we help with partial coverage of short-term shelter or housing-related expenses for families in urgent need. Thy Family goal is to provide temporary relief during crisis situations while they work toward long-term stability. Instead of only providing short-term assistance, we empower them to build sustainable income through home-based businesses. This includes opportunities such as food catering, baking and dessert services, online clothing and jewelry sales, handmade home accessories, and other small online

Through Thy Family's assistance program, we support families facing unexpected hardships such as a parent's illness, the loss of a parent, or a sudden loss of income. Our assistance helps cover educational expenses, school tuition, and childcare costs, allowing children to continue their education during difficult times.

Our largest and most impact service is helping low-income families access public assistance programs. Many families struggle with complex applications, reclassification, required documentation, and understanding eligibility requirements. We provide one-on-one guidance throughout the entire process, from the initial application to follow-up communication and document submission. One of our proudest accomplishments this year has been our partnership with a local food pantry. When we began working together a year ago, food distributions were held once a month. Through our collaboration and growing community support, the program, expanded to weekly distributions.
